I liked the film, but...*possible spoilers*

This has to be one of the cheesiest films I have ever seen, but I must admit that I love it (lol). I watch it every time it's on (Sky shows it pretty much once or twice a month). I know how sad that is.
I though the ending was kind of stupid. It was clever of Maddie to pretend to hang herself but her amazing line of "Demons. Not so smart." at sunrise was so out of place and dumb. She has just lost her best friends to demons and survived a night of bloodshed, yet she leaves the house in good enough spirits. I'm sorry but if it had been me, i'd have been devastated, in shock, questioning my beliefs etc etc but thankful for surviving of course!). I'd also be wondering how the hell I was going to explain the disappearance of my chums to the police and the families *shrug* but hey, that's just me.
That was my only problem really. There were some other silly parts but it was an "okay" film :)

Well I think the full impact of losing all her friends haven't sat in yet. Right now she is just happy to be alive. That is why she in good spirit. She trick the demons and survived. So she happy about surviving. As far as explaining everything about her friends to the police, she likely do not have to say anything, since no one knows that she and the others had stayed behind. Plus if they were to go back to the house the police likely would not be able to find anything wrong ,or out of order. So if she do not say anything to anyone she would be in the clear.

Couldn't agree with you more. Do you think maybe it was her character that was cheesy though? I thought it was great, but it just had a cheesy main character.
