Are the children adopted?

Kids were probably born out of wedlock.

Yeah, the dates seemed kind of wonky. They met at Easter and had the twins on Halloween, which doesn't seem like enough time. I guess if the kids weren't adopted, then Clare must have gotten pregnant on nearly their first date and had the twins about two months early.

Also, the day after Christmas 2006 she says that the kids are 10 and that they were born on October 31, 1997. Wonky dates again.
