What are the judges thinking?

Okay, was I the only one not impressed with Emmanuel Sandhu's dancing? Sure he was a pretty good figure skater in his time, but being able to jump on land is no great feat. If you're a figure skater, you can jump on land - whoopee, been there, done it.

The judges were just blinded by a few jumps. He doesn't have great dancing technique, as a matter of fact, he looks lame compared to most of the dancers that remain.

It's beyond me why they are keeping him around - I don't see the appeal of him as a dancer. I wonder if it's because he's a Canadian figure skating champ.

I agree, I don't think he's "all that". However a triple/double (couldn't tell) axel off ice is still not that easy, but seriously any high end skater should be able to do it. I doubt he'll make it much farther.

Yup. The triple (I think) axel impressed the judges, but I agree that that kind of move is to expected from an Olympic skating champion. I respect his talent as a figure skater, but am not at all interested in seeing what he brings to the competition as it progresses.
