He was stronger than he is smart (Ending)

Instead of lifting up tons with the statue by pushing at the back he could of just went to the front of the statue and smashed the rock bases.

Then the statue would've fallen on him...guess he's still a little smarter then you.

Are you a dummy? Think basic physics. How would you even smash the bases standing right in front of them? Kick them? Pull them? You need to stand towards the side of the front and swing anything you can get your hands on like a bat. Those two thin front slivers would break far easier than lifting all those tons.

The statue is actually so big that even if he was in front of the statue he would have the time to get out of the way anyway. Go look at people cutting trees down and how long they take to topple.

Smashing the statue's front would've left his back wide open. Remember the warriors had both spears and arrows? Last I checked, he wasn't immune to those. He was not shown to be much of a thinker but he wasn't a fool.

Well, that's in keeping with mythology. Heracles was not much of a thinker. He typified the virtues of his time and place of creation--strength, determination, physical victory--he was the hero of people who wanted an action star in their stories. The thinking man's hero was his pal Theseus, who typified the virtues of HIS time, and the example of Athens. He was clever, noble most of the time, eloquent, and solved things with his brain as often as he did with his blade.

The only time Heracles really solved an issue with his mind was when he tricked Atlas into taking the weight of the heavens back on his shoulders.
