I was fighting the that thing that regenerates (I think it's called the hunter) and I got to the part where you need to freeze it. I blew it's legs off in the cryo room and ran to the control panel. As I hit the button I decided to act cool and said "you want my opinion? You need to chill out!" I felt like a total badass...until the damn thing dropped into the room behind me and ripped off my head. I guess it managed to get out before I froze it...

The worst part is I was in a party with a bunch of friends and they all heard me say that cheesey line and then scream like a girl as i got decapitated :(

LOL, in that part I didn't know I had to freee it, I just ran like a schoolgirl into the control room trying to escape and saw the button (or computer or whatever), and decided to press it, next thing I know the bastard was frozen, and I was like "is that it?"

That the monsters actually came after you if tried to hid in a another room was one of the best parts of the game.
