TRIVIA 'Clarification'

Being a retired Vet myself it chaps my hide when something this serious is erroneously reported. In Trivia it states and I quote, "WWE wrestler and real life retired Marine Randy Orton was the first choice to play the lead role in the movie."

Randy Orton is not "Retired" from the Marine Corp in fact, here's the truth from Wikipedia, "He [Randy Orton] had a tattoo on his left arm which read "USMC" for United States Marine Corps but covered it up after receiving a bad conduct discharge from the service. He was sent home after serving thirty-eight days in military prison at Camp Pendleton in California." This may seem trivial to some but other vets will understand why I felt the need to point this out.

As for the movie itself, it was moderately entertaining although for someone in his job (Marine Recon) he wouldn't have been quite so inept as his role in the movie portrayed. The bad guys woulda died a WHOLE lot faster and quieter but I understand this woulda made it a 30 minute movie Lol.

I was in the Marines active duty for 5 years and I was instantly pissed off watching this because whey the hell are these supposed "Marines" wearing Army uniforms?? At the least his girlfriend corrected that bastard when he called him a soldier. Damn right he's not a soldier.
