They kind of, rushed things, near the end..... I mean, the first murder (kitty excluded) happened in the last 15 minutes..... that's stupid. Other than that, it was fun, brainless movie that entertained me.
sharePart of the beauty of the film is that it bucked genre conventions by not having a high body count. That enabled other things, like the emphasis on people being so frightened of Rebecca that she could effectively control them, and this helped some of the black comedy aspects.
