CW The Movie?

When i watch this movie, i notice that 80% of the actors are CW stars. Leighton from Gossip Girl, Danneell Harris from Three Hill, Aly from Hellcats, Matt Lanter from 90210, NIna Dobrev from Vampire Diaries...is this CW project or what happened??
