Everyone who saw the trailer will know that there's a scene where Alyson Michalka is taking a shower and the other girl comes from behind her a rips out her belly button ring. I have to say, even though the movie is PG-13, I have to give it some credit for a cringe-worthy situation. You don't normally see that in movies and it at least gives some kind of reaction from the audience, well at least it does to me anyway. It was one of those things you can actually feel yourself.
Well, you can tell the studio thought the same thing. This money shot is pretty much in every trailer/TV spot released for the movie. And in terms of effectiveness, it is likely to be very lonely in this film...
I saw this movie last night and there were a few 'money shots'. The whole audience participated in the screams and ewws, lol. But then again, the audience was mostly made up of teenage girls, lol.

The kitten and the drying machine is almost as bad as the girl who in real life thought it would be really funny to break into their friends apartment and put their kitten in the oven turn it on and leave.
You can google it, i believe it happened in NY and i hope to god that kid is locked away until they beat the crazy out of her.

Best cat in any film goes to MADHOUSE the 1990 comedy with John Larroquette and Kirstie Alley. That cat gave new meaning to nine lives and when he snorted coke, that cat rocked! Literally! But, I digress.
Thank goodness they didn't show anymore than her closing the door because it would have been too much to bare and I don't like cats. Lately, cats have been used as collateral damage. See Drag Me to Hell to know what I mean. hehe I kept yelling though, DON'T CLOSE THAT DOOR PLEASE LET THE CAT OUT. oy vey.

Im not a fan of violence aimed at animals or those unable to defend themselves, but the cat in Boondock Saints tragic though its death was (yes i know it wasnt a real cat that got splattered) had me laughing for a good 10 minutes LOL
The puppy scene in Urban Legend was pretty wild, man. That one wasn't just cringing, it was disturbing as well. Also, the famous rabbit scene in Fatal Attraction. I agree with the OP, that scene was crazy.
"I am the ultimate badass, you do not wanna `*beep*` wit' me!" Hudson in Aliens.
Funny you mention Urban Legend, it's one of my favorite scary movies. I remember I saw it when I was just a kid and I cried during that scene. I wasn't really scared because I was watching it with my mom and sister but it just pissed me off. That movie isn't Scream or anything, but it's one of the best horror movies IMO, I like the ones that keep you guessing.
I could tell that was gonna happen immediately upon the camera zoning in on the belly button ring. I just knew she was gonna get it ripped out, I called it.

deleted scenes included a shot where irene is getting out of bed, goes to the kitchen and then on her way back, suddenly out pops rebecca, attacking her. it came out of nowhere.. it was kinda cheap, BUT it scared the sh*t out of me!!!
