Yes, it was almost identical, except this was a lot tamer, since it's PG-13.
Maybe a couple of things were changed a bit but not too much. Watch the movie and you'll see what I'm talking about.

i just made the pg13 point. it's just really hard to make this kind of a movie great as a pg13 movie. it's almost impossible to do this. you have so much constriction on what you can show in a pg13 movie nowadays. so this rating means no boobs, no sex, and no explicit violence.

i mean they even have the scene in single white female where the psycho girl makes herself look exactly like the normal girl. ripoff!

Not much except by Rebecca trying to look like Sara to get near the ex bf, towards the ending.

Single white female was so good compared to this crap. Even single white female 2 was better and that was pretty bad.

exactly, agreed. single white female is a masterpiece compared to this generic, predictable, low quality movie where nothing interesting happens. this is like a lifetime movie movie.

this is a poor man's single white female. i mean it's so similar that swf producers could sue this movie for stealing plot ideas and the story. this movie is a cheap, uninteresting, generic, lifetime movie version of single white female. the biggest problem this movie has is it's rated pg13 so they can't put any edgy or interesting thing in it as far as relating to sex nudity or violence. add to this the fact that nothing interesting happens and this movie is predictable and you have just an ok movie.
