This is really a werewolf movie with a frankenwolf

I watched the trailer and am bemused and slightly impressed. This movie is indeed not for the squeamish due to its above-average depiction of blood and gore; unusual for a cable sci-fi movie.

I know the movie write-up describes the so-called dire wolf recreation as a modern-day laboratory frankenwolf creature. But it looks like one of the werewolves from the 1980 cult classic, "The Howling". The movie's frankenwolf werewolf creature walks on four and two legs. It grabs and claws it victims with its dual-purpose front legs which serve as claws. Its fangs does the rest.

It really is an awful movie with horrible, cheap f/x. The only thing that could come out of this movie is as a stand in for Reese Witherspoon via the actress that plays Amber, Kimberly Horner.
