Friendship

In one of the user reviews, the user stated that they didn't "buy in to the friendship between the two girls". I wasn't so sure either, since they both seem so different, but we don't really know how long they have been friends and I'm sure they were both different before the war. Miriam seems more mature and a sort of protector for Nour.
I thought this was a sweet story. It didn't matter that one was a Muslim and the other a Jew. I'm sure both cultures had greater struggles to worry about back then than ideology.
