I can't believe this was a National Geographic production

I thoroughly enjoyed both seasons of Life After People produced by the History Channel and so I thought this might be something fun to watch as well. I found the whole film on Youtube so I figured why not. The film covers pretty much the same material as LAP, but is so poorly filmed you'd think it was designed for someone on drugs. The camera shakes, some scenes are blurry and at one point they even have a lion trying to climb a plastic slide to presumably eat a monkey. Having Reg Cathy narrate just adds to this films monotonous feeling. He sounds like he is essentially reading from a line by line list with zero inflection to be found anywhere. He adds no drama or even excitement to this production. Also missing are any "experts" and I use that term loosely like LAP used to highlight why things happen the way they do. It was fun on LAP to hear from professionals, authors and others add their commentary. I usually enjoy and recommend National Geo, but this was pathetic. Do yourself a favor and just watch Life After People.

I'm way too late for a reply but whatever. I just skimmed through the copy that's available on youtube, and the shaky cam effect is not in the original documentary. They distrot the video quality on purpose to prevent copyright problems.
