Once again Honoré has done it, I was uncertain for the first 10 minutes, perhaps as I knew it was a TVM, but actually it was excellent, and unlike Dans Paris, Chansons d'amour and Ma Mere it didn't rely to heavily on Louis Garrel. The actress who played Junie - Léa Seydoux was a revelation, absolutley excellent, in all aspects, I look forward to the DVD release.

I have to say with films of this calibre consistently coming from Honoré and other contemporary French filmakers, French cinema is perhaps the best in the world.

it certainly thinks it's the best.
to use a very overused word, it certainly is the most pretentious.

David Traversa. I agree with you completely, but not only starting with "contemporary French filmmakers" but from the beginnings of film making period!!
The French and the British alike.
