The hair--somehow, Louis Garrel reminded me a bit of Jean-Pierre Leaud in his role in Eustache's "La maman et la putain." The long hair, that rather negligent, sultry manner, almost Byronic. So I just found out by looking up his bio that Jean-Pierre Leaud is his godfather. Maybe Garrel is imitating the older actor's style.

Most of the people in this movie needed their hair combed. It suited them though.
