Vincent Tilsley

I find the story of Vincent Tilsley, and how the TV executives destroyed his masterpiece "The Death of Adolf Hitler", ruining his chance at Kubrick-level reverence, truly saddening.

Does anyone else?

The impression I got was that he was suffering from some kind of mental disorder, a symptom of which appeared to be his delusions of grandeur.

The letter he sent Kubrick was strange to say to very least, and appeared to be the result of some kind of mental breakdown.

Although he came over as a pleasant and intelligent man, and I felt sorry for the way his script was torn apart, speaking down to Kubrick like that was quite deplorable.
