The End May Have Been a........

disappointment, in terms that they didn't get back together. I know i felt so, but it made sense the way it was handled. What he needed more than anything else, including Jean, was his sobriety.

I know, because the same happened to me, only opposite. Only my girl didn't get sober. So many times i had to turn her away despite the tug in my heart.

Bad's sobriety would help provide the miracles. As a matter of fact, it had already started with his career.

But there was a tug in Jeans heart.....trust me.

The end was what it should have been...a little bit bittersweet with some room for the viewer to make up their own mind on Bad & Jane's future. This was a very good movie for folks who appreciate great acting.

Off topic - I cannot believe I even liked Colin Farrell in this movie and was shocked to find out he did his own singing!!

I was just about to say this! I read the book after seeing the film (I don't usually do that, I didn't realise it was originally a book) and the ending of the book blew me away because I expected it to play out like the movie. I was glad of it because I thoroughly enjoyed both endings.

I'm proud to have both the book and the DVD on my shelves.
