How can anyone NOT fall in love with this woman?

I keep forgetting what a beautiful, elegant woman Maggie Gyllenhaal is, then I see her in a movie like that and it reminds me how a true woman looks like.
I loved her character in this movie and she just looks so...perfect.
Cute, sexy, smart, her character had it all and I swear this woman keeps getting prettier with age.
I can't understand how anyone could help but fall in love with her.

Just finished seeing the movie and had to come here and see what everyone thought about her perfomance and the actress herself because I was simply taken away with her.

I really liked Maggie in this movie, too--also loved her short cute haircut and turquoise jewelry.

I agree, She is good looking and did a god job acting in this movie but I wish she would keep her political views to herself.

I Netflixed the movie because I would never pay to see a movie she was in, I wish actors would just do their job and keep out of politics. I read some of her political views and I don't care how beautiful she is, I have a very strong dislike toward her

That's exactly why I don't like her and I'm with you--actors should keep their political views to themselves.

I haven't read her political views but I suspect I'm opposite from her, it's not hard to glean what the Hollywood types want in the political arena.

But that said, I like MAggie G well enough to overlook her posturing in politics.

I love her so much too. Peter Sarsgaard is a lucky man. I thought her performance was absolutely brilliant in this too. Who ever beat her for the Oscar this year better have been damn good because her performance is one of the greatest supporting female performances of this decade atleast. I can't think of many other great ones.

Totally miscast in Batman, not hot enough to pull off a love relationship with Bruce Wayne. She did a great job in this role, playing an sympathetic single mom who deserved better.

I agree with the OP Maggie Gyllenhaal is a very attractive woman and a very talented actress. I like the fact that Maggie takes on diverse roles and she never plays the same kind of character twice.

In general I don't find her attractive--bordering on unappealing--but there are a few performances that seem to tip the scales. Donnie Darko was one. I guess I need to add Crazy Heart to the list.

Thank you! Maggie Gyllenhaal is one of the best, and most beautiful actresses in hollywood. I was so glad to see her in The Dark Knight, and in no way shape or form in a good day in hell, is Katie Holmes better looking.

My fiends wife looks just like her too.

Love Maggie, hate the character she played. She's one of the people whom I can trust with picking good scripts... don't know why she picked this, it does not suit her, she's too young and gorgeous for this situtation.
