When Jean asked Bad if he wanted to see Buddy, do you think she was testing to see if Bad really did come to reality and know what was best? Then he obviously passed it by saying it would be best if Buddy didn't see him. This also has me asking what exactly was in the envelope for Buddy to open once he turned eighteen? Not sure that was ever made clear.

It was the royalty check he just got from his agent for the song that Tommy was singing which was all about his breakup with Jeanne

I think he meant she should cash the check now and save the money for later.
