Why does Russell Brand have to be in this? Damn!

Physically cannot watch anything he is in.

Yet I love Cody.

Damn !

reply

Agreed, the 'guy' oozes douch-Y-ness.....

reply

Because... the filmmakers decided to cast him?

Logan, buddy. It's me, Deadpool! I shot youuuuuu....

reply

No, that doesn't explain why he had to be in it. Awful film.

reply

He was cast, he wanted to do it, it's that simple. If you don't like it you can go *beep* a few goats you stupid *beep* *beep*

To each his own. I was only interested in it because of Russell Brand. That's what makes the world go by. Cheers!

reply

Russell Brand is what made me interested in this movie in the first place. I like him

reply

I feel the same way, but I have others whom I will not watch. Mat McConaughey is another, cant' stand the sight of him. I'm sorry this is bad, I like Holly Hunter.

reply

Russell Brand was the only reason I watched this film. shame, without him this film has nothing much to offer! a nice film but no character development nor a solid plot. it felt like incomplete.

reply

You know I used to dislike him, but I just watched the film and he's one of the best things about it believe it or not! The movie is good too, I don't get the low IMDb rating..

^^ I agree. I usually cannot STAND him, but he was actually tolerable in this movie. He had some of the best lines, too! And it was sweet how he cared about Lamb's welfare.

We all have our opinions and we all are entitled to them, so please don't take offense... I am HUGE fan of Russell Brand - he's quite intelligent, very eager to help those who need help, strives for a better solution than putting drug addicts in prison, which is actually a great thing.

He's also a comedian and sometimes goes "too far" for most people's taste... But that is what makes him unique. He's definitely not afraid to speak his mind - and whether you agree with him or not - you at least have to respect him for that and for standing up for what he believes in.

He's a guy with a great soul. If there were more Russell Brand's in this world, the world would be a much better, more loving, and much happier place to live in.

I liked him in it, but he's an acquired taste... If you don't like him, you really won't like what he does. I've just read that he's more of a philosopher today, than an actor. I believe it! He's smart, unusual, makes his own way in life.

reply

I'll be watching it because he's in it. I doubt I'd give it a second glance if he wasn't.
I like him. He's funny and he's unique.
And strangely, very handsome.
