Just a terrible movie

Maybe I'm not smart like the film critics....no, I take that back, I no I'm not smart and deep thinking like the critics and the wanna be film critics one can find here on imdb. So just as a regular Joe Schmo who likes to watch a good, entertaining story, I thought this was crap. Yes, it held my attention so there's that, but the ending was terrible and really didn't tell me anything other than he drank and drove, killed people, went to prison and then was lucky enough to be selected for this trial drug that blocked out his painful memories. When the muster was reveiled to me I was like, "ok, so that's the mystery, where's the story going from here"? It didn't go anywhere but to the credits. Wasted $$

Why does it have to be a terrible movie just because you didn't like how the story unfolded or was explained. It seems perfectly satisfying to me.

reply

What a stupid comment. That's the very definition of terrible.

reply

yes, a malicious waste of time, most of the movie is circular conversations because he won't reveal that he can't remember

reply

Those paying attention would understand why he didn't want to reveal that he couldn't remember. This was a guy who woke up in the desert with a hood over his head, bound in plasticuffs and left to die. Clearly not everything or everyone he encounters is what they seem. Expecting him to trust strangers who claim to know him (or do know him) is not reasonable, in fact that would be bad storytelling. This movie was the exact opposite, everybody's motives were very well explained in the excellent twist ending.

Ever heard of a SPOILER WARNING, sulky britches?

reply

Two years ago when I wrote this I had never heard of a spoiler warning. Pitiful isn't it? Sulky britches.....lol, I like that.

Alright. I forgive you. Especially since you took my insult so well. :P (probably better than I would have, actually.)
