Surprised there is so little debate on this thought provoking film

This is a well made and acted movie, I am really surprised there isn't more being said about it. Is it simply being overlooked?

As usual, distribution and publicity issues deprive a potentially large audience of a quality film... I thought the acting was excellent and authentic. For me, it's much easier to engage with a film when "star power" doesn't intrude on the experience.

Well, for deeper meaning, I don't think people want to stare a subject matter like this in the face. Having that happy pill that makes you forget is beyond what is happening, especially not at this time. This kind of movie would only get wider acceptance in good times; when people have more or less put out of their mind that life tends to crumble after a bubble, that they have to come down after they were high.
Maybe I read too much into it, but that's how I see it. Other than that, Indie movies will always have to struggle. And no matter what I said, I do believe that it will stand the test of time and will gain all that it didn't later on. Not a bad movie to have in the repertoire as it were.

Solid, well acted movie overall. It keeps one guessing until the end and the emotional connection with the "man" remains strong throughout, even when we find out the Why.

Well the beginning of the movie looks pretty cheap and boring, may causing alotta people to change the channel or trash the dvd. Also the dialogues are stupid. Most people would react completely different and ask him different questions. The last 15 Minutes were alright though.

So blame the lousy script and cinematography. Here's a remake welcome for a change.
