I've read Off Season, not Offspring. Off Season is a fantastic book, why did they make Offspring first? I rather enjoyed it, except the very last frame of the movie. Are they implying that that baby will somehow survive on its own and grow up to be a cannibal as well?

"She doesn't like to be bitten." I guess that part was in the book. Sorry, but that has to be one of the lamest, stupidest, just plain cliché parts. Really pretty stupid. I guess, I'm just getting tired of the same kind of crap that's written, and re-written over the last 50 years or more. It's not really new or different just because it has "taboo" subjects i.e. babies, children. It's just the same old junk recycled on different subjects. Ahh who cares anyway. PS the movie was ok.
