Locations Hamilton/Toronto

So apparently the series was shot in Hamilton, but the opening title credits show the following:

The apartments up at Parliament/Wellesley below Bloor, DVP in the forground looking west in Toronto.

Some condos under construction with CN Tower going up the left edge, Skydome.

Some place I have no idea what it is.

What may be Spadina with a "new" streetcar heading away from the camera in the distance.

Ontario Northern locomotive 1802 going somewhere.

Some buildings, no idea.

May be the Gardiner Expressway, also could be Burlington Street between the QEW and Ottawa St in Hamilton.

In any case, none of the locations look "Toronto-ey" and could all be Hamilton. Especially when you see local phone numbers like 905 523 1234 and such. I've been looking for the building where they lived. No luck.
