Chavez Ruins This Movie

So it definitely wasn't as good as Parts 1 and 2, but it delivered as far as gore is concerned. Most of the prisoners were annoying but bearable ~ however, Chavez was so bad, he made the movie hard to sit through. Almost over an hour of him constantly yelling, barking orders, swearing and beating people up. I know that was the point of the character but he was just so loud and stupid, and the worst part of it was, you just know that they're going to leave him around until the end. The actor was just way over the top, in a bad way.

Otherwise, if you enjoyed the first two you'll have some fun with this, but it's the weakest entry in the series.

They def had your typical stereotypical characters. The skinhead looking guy, the mexican, and of course they had a nice but cunning man, they even threw a redneck or two in there. I mean afterall, this is supposed to be in WV. And it actually looks just like it. I was fooled into thinking it was filmed there. Chavez was very loudmouthed and annoying. Most people when they think of prisons-they always imagine there is a big skinhead or mexican dude running things in there. And that explains them being the most loudmouthed and controlling of the group. Considering that girl whipped the nazi dudes a$$ then I'd say he couldn't have been too much of a leader but his acting was more bearable than Chavez. Almost every scene with Chavez-it's got him beating someone up and pointing a gun at them.
The scene where he is pounding that officers head in was almost laughable. For one, I don't think the officer would have took it as good as if really happened. I mean, come on, he's bony and just layed there. After Chavez beat his head in-it was a awkward moment there for a second after he's done repeating his beating and yelling at him and he's just looking at the officer until someone yells. That right there was just bad dialogue.

This definitely did not deliver in gore. Those were probably the worst gore effects I've ever seen.

That first trap that sliced the guy into three pieces...absolutely ridiculous. The gush of blood that came forth as he fell into three pieces looked like it was made in MS Paint. The trap that slice the guy's face off...ridiculous. I didn't see any realistic gore in the entire movie.
