CGI/Green Screen Backgrounds

I just started watching this show and I have to say that the green screen backgrounds through every scene is driving me NUTS. I don't know if that's part of the show or what. And who in the world is Anna talking to all the time on that camera thing anyway?

Yeah, I went back and forth on whether or not I liked the backgrounds and settings. Sometimes I'd think they looked really cool, other times I felt they were unrealistic and distracting. But I guess I give them credit for trying something different and giving the show its own style.
