Some good acting nothwithstanding...

The movie lives up to its name: Dismal. I might add the adjective "abysmal" as well.

I know it was made on a budget. Some of the gore scenes were excellent, but then the director went to CGI for a fire and an explosion? Both of those are relatively easy to do for real even on the smallest budgets.

Good premise to the film, but it's all been done before. Think Texas Chainsaw Massacre in a swamp setting.

Another 90 minutes I'll never be able to reclaim. The horror.....
