Why was Andrew Garfield credited in this one?

I just finished watching it and am a bit confused. It's quite possible that I missed seeing him in it I guess but it just seems strange to credit him if he wasn't physically in the film.

He was. In a flashback scene towards the end when BJ the rentboy tells Hunter what happened in the Karachi Club back in 1974. It's only a fleeting glimpse.
