Wow, that was awful!

Every time Zachery Ty Bryan spoke, I kept picturing Mark Chang, the octopus-like alien prince from Fairly Oddparents.

I kept expecting them to acknowledge it's awfulness by giving the audience an appropriate wink-and-a-nod, or two -- I was prepared to be unsurprised by them casting Jonathan Taylor Thomas as Loki, Thor's smart-alecky evil-fomenting little brother.

To take it over the top, they would have had Tim Allen in a cameo, as Odin.

Something this profoundly awful desperately needed to make fun of itself, so that the audience wouldn't feel so snookered.
