Could this show be any more staged?
I know most reality shows these days are partially scripted, so I wouldn't expect this one to be any different. But jeez, can this show get any more staged? It is obvious these scenes are blocked out and filmed like a damn movie...it's not just some cameramen carrying equipment around and capturing footage, these shots are planned out. It's so obvious. In the most recent episode, when Brooke and her dad are trying out the electric car, first you see a view of them through the front windshield as if there's a camera mounted on the hood. Then, later on we see them from behind. And then as they're driving down the street, you see them from the angle of someone standing in the street--yet there are no cameras anywhere on or inside the car. And in one shot, the view is from a sidewalk obviously, as they are driving by. Did the cameraman happen to hop out of the car and go set up a camera on a tripod in the exact location they would be driving by? Come on. Then we see Brooke in the shower as Ashley turns off the water. Okay, you mean to tell me they actually film Brooke taking showers? You could clearly see through the glass shower door, and luckily she had her back turned. Why would they be filming her taking a shower unless they KNEW Ashley was about to go shut off the water, and they wanted to set it up first? Obviously, the whole thing was pre-planned. And when Brooke exits the bathroom, we see a low angle of her feet. Why the heck would they place a camera on the freaking floor outside the bathroom door unless they knew she was about to come out? Obviously the whole thing was staged. This entire show is pre-planned and shot. The situations are obviously scripted as well. I don't understand how anyone can not see this. Why do people want to watch a "reality" show that's not even reality?
