Why is it call red riding??
Anyone?
shareIt is set in the West Riding area of Yorkshire. The "red" part speaks for itself.
shareI think because all the victims were little girls and the serial killer is called the Wolf....therefore "Little Red Riding Hood"
shareand if it's not insinuating a connection to the fairy tale, and red just refers to a color choice used in the film or blood, and riding just refers to the area, they are jerks for messing with fairytale fans that obviously see a connection.
shareThe'red' is also a political reference, parts of the north of England around the Pennines being traditionally socialist/Labour.

Odd that Blunkett, leader of the People's Republic of South Yorkshire managed to turn into a Gauleiter when that was where the money was. Perhaps the ridings weren't as red as was thought (or that Liarbour were tory stooges).

Windrush, with a name like that you should have been here half a day early, not half a day late.
