Does anyone know where I can watch this for free?

Netflix had it for streaming, but now they have it only by mail. Amazon has it for three dollars for each segment of the trilogy.

"Pay the two dollars." Don't be cheap, have some respect.

Hahaha. Touche. But I do pay out the nose for videos already. I have Showtime, HBO and Starz, and I subscribe to Acorn Online, and I have Amazon Prime, and I have Netflix for both streaming and by mail. Netflix used to have this for free, so I don't feel too bad about looking for a free source. Besides, there are three of these programs, and each costs three bucks on Amazon. I don't really care to feed the behemoth again!

And I can't eat fifty eggs-but then I'll bet you can't either, Luke.

It's the behemoths that feed you.
I don't mean to attack you personally but I suppose I find the tendency to choose how much to pay (if at all) a bit upsetting.
If you picked up four pints of milk at the supermarket, paid for three and put the fourth in your bag while telling the cashier 'I've already paid for three pints of milk, I'm having this one for free. Your milk is very expensive and I've decided you've had enough of my money now', that wouldn't be the right thing to do now would it?
But I suppose I'm just an old fashioned sort of duffer who should shut up and expect people to work for years creating something of value only to see it taken for free.
Cuh! Humbug, humbug...

Perhaps I should just turn my pension check over to whomever made that movie back in 1974? You say you are not singling me out, but people ask this question often on this message board, and usually some helpful person answers. I guess I just got unlucky.

The behemoth in question is Amazon. I doubt my nine dollars is going to take bread out of their CEO's mouth. And I support the arts and creative endeavors more than most people do. So I'm not losing sleep for asking a question.

And please, let's not turn this into a marathon. You've said your bit, and I've said mine, so let's go back to our respective corners.

I agree heartily and give you a cheery wave as we depart the field. Let's congratulate ourselves on not calling each other Hitler.

By the by, it was made in 2009. 1974 is part of the title and if you have the stomach for it, it is magnificent.

I can eat fifty eggs, though I'm only prepared to pay for 45

hahaha. Not even Eva Braun! And you're right. I forgot that it was that recent. I like British crime stuff, so I'm sure I'll like it. Gore doesn't bother me, nor grittiness.

Since it is that recent, I guess I'll pay for it. Sigh.

Happy trails.
