Concerning the fate of Hazel...
So when Piggot comes out of the chicken coop, he is carrying Hazel, and she is alive. However, the scene is ethereal and dreamlike. Next shot has him carrying Hazel in his arms, but she looks lifeless. I assume he found Hazel's dead body? Agree or disagree?
For a 2009 show, is it even necessary to warn about a spoiler? But I'll play along.
You might want to look at this thread: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259573/board/nest/173258522, which implies that the screenplay adapter intended for Hazel to be alive at the end of the story and explicitly states that Hazel died in the book.

Huh? I finished watching this third part last night. I just thought it was odd that you'd put both a spoiler warning on your header and spoiler tags within the thread on a show that's already been out for a few years. Since it's your thread, I put spoiler tags in my post, too.
