Good twist, slow movie
Started out hot then went flat for 90 minutes then got hot again. Whats the point of putting fluff in a movie like this?
shareIt did start out Real fucking hot... in a good way.
But I did enjoy the slow cat and mouse game in the middle of it all.
Some of that stuff was ok but the scenes with his wife didn't make any sense other than filler. We already know that Nick is a d-bag when the movie starts. The 50 cent scene could be cut too.
shareI actually enjoyed the irony in how those scenes played off each other: the cop comes home in the morning to his family leaving him as a result of his cheating the night before, meanwhile the robber is not only there in the morning to see his kids off to school but he also cooked them breakfast. Not to mention the scenes where he is there also to see his daughter off to prom while the cop's quit possible very last interaction before losing custody with his daughter was through the chain link fence at her school during recess.
