Where's the buzz for this one?

Doesn't seem like there really is any.

I think the trailer looks derivative of other films--Triple 9 is the most recent one--but it still looks like it might be a well-made and entertaining crime thriller.

I long thought that Gerard Butler was going to materialize into a real star but he never really did and I suspect that his time to make that jump to the A-list is probably coming to an end. I still like him though. I watched Olympus Has Fallen just last night and it was a really fun movie.

Probably the closest he ever came to true stardom was right after 300. He was a pretty hot commodity right then but he didn't follow it up with another blockbuster, and then his momentum slowed down.

He actually gave one of the very best performances of his career just recently in a small indie thriller called The Vanishing. It's a little slow, but if you like slow, atmospheric films then it's worth checking out.

Gerard Butler has one of the most schizophrenic careers out of any major star, with the possible exception of Nicolas Cage but even Cage is kind of having a comeback.

Yeah, I can't really get a feel for how popular he actually is or how much of a box office draw he is.

Apparently producers have faith in him though because I just looked at his IMDB page and he has a ton of stuff in production.
