The topic of molestation for ratings

I don't blame Ruby, I don't know who I blame. Maybe the producers.

But if she wasn't molested WHY DID THEY IMPLY THAT? Basically, they implied that Ruby was molested by her father. Ruby never said that, but they did it with editing. They would show Ruby going on about how close she was to her father and then immediately cut to Tinny saying something like "sexual victims often love their abusers because it could be their family, even fathers".

Everytime Ruby had a moment of being uncomfortable it cut to someone talking about sexual abuse.

It just makes me mad because as far as Ruby knows, she didn't even get molested.

So is it fair to show her father was the molester through editing and association?

I totally thought the same thing and I was disgusted by it.
It's one thing if she wants to be exploited, herself, for money, going on tv and talking baby talk etc.

But to even imply that somebody is a child molester when you know they're not? On television? No words.
