OMG! Yeah! She is sooo pretty! I luv her accent, and her personality. She's just trying to live in the moment and enjoy life, yet at the same time she's really focusing toward her goal of losing weight! Best of luck Ruby!!!!!

I do think she is very pretty and so sweet. I can't wait for each new episode! And I think her ex is a jerk.
Also, the user comment on the first page is just plain rude!

yes I think she's gorgeous; so does my husband. I think that part of her appeal is that she does have a pretty face, but her personality is what makes her really beautiful.

Well, I'm not the only one!!! I thought she was gorgeous when I first tuned in to the show. There's a scene in the opening where she's kind of dancing or just wiggling her hips and she looks sooooooo cute doing that. LOL I couldn't agree more that her personality is amazing. That's the kiss of death to us fat folks, but I always thought that was what made her even more beautiful.

Yeah, I was flipping through the channels and ran into this show, and I really agree. She has a really pretty face, and this natural glow about her. Now if she loses the weight I wonder how she'll look.

Ruby is very pretty, even for all of the weight. She has beautiful eyes & a radiant smile. She has zest for life, even though she's physically held back by her weight and her demons. She's sweet and giving and that's beautiful too.

As for the hygiene thingo, well, I've know skinny stinky folks tooe. Fat doesn't always equal laziness OR poor hygiene.

I am not big now. I use to weigh 240lbs. I was always clean and smelled good.
Now I weigh 145lbs. You are just an idiot user plot!

I have to say that I found that remark insensitive, insulting, ignorant, and completely off topic. Are you just trolling? How would you know who is and isn't "lacking overall hygiene" unless you know that person yourself and spend a lot of time in close proximity to them? Very obese people have to take a great deal MORE care with their personal hygiene than normal sized people.

I think she's really pretty, I also agree that her personality is great..and her hair color is fabulous. LOL @ the dummy who said she has poor hygiene...what does being obese have to do with poor hygiene? She's not an animal you nimrod, she eats to cope with her issues.

Yeah, that's definitely not true. I'm big as hell and I get complimented almost daily on how good I smell. It's a part of who I am to smell good and look good regardless of how ugly or even smelly the world might THINK I am.

A former co-worker even told me she was surprised to learn that I didn't stink, but smelled good all the time. I tell big people (especially women) that soap, water, a strong hand and a washcloth are their friends.

I love proving people wrong about us. :)

user plot is so wrong. I'm obese. Yes I am a fatty fatty, but that doesn't mean that we have bad hygiene. I shower everyday, brush my teeth everyday, brush my hair, and I don't stink. Just because ppl are fat doesn't mean anything. jerk.
