since bbc world news now has slashed the running time of this in half to leave space to rerun hardtalk for the five hundredth time and extend the running time of the program airing before this to close to two hours to set you right in doze mood they should at least clearly put the original hostess laura on fridays since that's the only day of the week now that is keeping the old running time of a full hour, or better yet, kill off the show airing before this and the unreasonable amount of hardtalk reruns. i don't know how these things work, if another version of the channel or so still airs the other half hour as the case with other news networks, it still bugs me everyday, why in the world would you cut off an exciting on going live broadcast from the other version of the network to air a rerun of something, it's mind blowing, especially these days when you can rewind most shows, i have to give it to bbc though they don't cut off shows abruptly. being used to watching this every night for an hour it's kind of a downer for a viewer to now be switched to a rerun of some eerie hardtalk studio and add to that as long as i recall laura has been hosting this show and it's sort of insulting to have someone else in the only remaining full hour. every live news show now runs for hours on bbc world news while this for 25min.
