For some reason the subtitles of the version I watched stopped towards the end during the scene with the Park Rangers. Can someone translate the titles that appear on screen at the end that describes the fate of Mercier and his girlfriend (I think that is who the title refrences). I got the title about Mesrine and the end of the first part. Thanks in advance!
shareI've just seen it, so it's fresh in my mind. It says that Mercier was killed two years later, robbing a bank, but there is no mention of his girlfriend. Mesrine's other half served the rest of her sentence and moved back to France, where she lived the rest of her life a free woman. It also mentions the SCU (prison): shortly after Mesrine's assault on the place, there was an investigation into the treatment of prisoners there, which eventually led to the shutdown of the prison.
