They spent two years writing this?

It's a mess of a movie. I guess they spent all their time working on the action scenes and forgot that movies need a plot characters with depth.

Now I know this movie was heavily influenced by 70's martial arts films. And those tend to have really thin plots and one dimentional characters, but moviegoers are way more savey now and it's an insult to make such a weak movie.

Bad voice over kills a movie for me. The voice over felt tacked on, cause they cut most of what would be plot and kept all the action.

It's a horrible movie. The action is pretty good. But more work on the characters, dialogue and plot would've made a world of diffrence. Obviously Rza stole most of his directing style from Quentin. Too bad he didn't try to steal his writing ability. The dialogue really was hacky.
