It embraces itself as a 'cheesy kung fu movie' and pulls it off.
Some good fight scenes, some pretty slick performances from the various supporting cast-members, some nice music pieces, and over the top violence.
Good fun.

shareYep, agreed it's awesome stuff. Highly recommended. To anyone wondering whether this is worth renting, given the low IMDB score and fools saying it's the worst movie ever, definitely give it a go. You can't help but want to know what happens to all the characters, and it's a good ride finding out.
There's a few WTF moments, but there's also quite a few technically brilliant sequences. Good use of graphic-novel style scene transitions, not overused. And good parallel action scenes play out to keep things interesting. Really well done in editing and general fun. Looks good too.
