I kept getting yanked out of this movie!

Lets get something straight first off, I love old school and new school Martial Arts films. I do like a lot of rap, not all, but a lot. this movie could have been really awesome if it wasn't for that god awful soundtrack. It wasn't the soundtrack itself, it's the type of film its in. My honest opinion is if this movie had a traditional like Shaw Bros. score to it then it would have been great. And one more thing that just killed the movie for me is RZA's acting and voice over. He just used his crappy inner city slang terms. For instance at the beginning in voiceover he says "Norf", which I can only imagine he meant "North". Many other words he used similar to this and it just kept reminding me it wasn't an actual Chinese movie. Well I suppose the English all through it gives that away but it could have have used a little "less is more" type thing going on.

Definitely agree could of been a great movie for the soundtrack and Rza learning Byron Mann and Russell Crowe in terms of acting. Even Batista was actually pretty decent Rza felt like the fish out of water in terms of lines and just messing up the pacing of the film. I hope the next one they do will have a better soundtrack and keep the fun in it though.

I think RZA was trying to make his own version of 'Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai.'

Now we can handle this like gentleman or we can get into some old gangster sh*t

You could be right. I don't know the film had a lot of space for improvement. It could have been good though.

By the way bishops64 I love your quote at the bottom, great line from a great movie!
