I know that it was something Lucy cooked up with RZA which I'm pretty cool about because I really only watched it for her. But what even were they? What was their goal at the end, in assassinating the Lions??

The Black Widows were cool but made no sense as to their role.

The Black Widows were a clan of female assassins who disguised themselves as prostitutes. They killed the Lions for the same reason the Lions killed the Wolves: To gain control of the city gates.
