Josh Appeal?
Can someone explain to me the appeal that Josh has to the ladies?
He's a sour faced, scar faced misery, but he gets all these hot chicks. I suppose stranger things happen in real life.

Where to start... firstly Josh is hot!! His scar is sexy, they say women love men with scars and I am not going to debate that.... it works for me. I wouldn't consider Josh sour, he has a wide variety of looks other than sour and is only sour if the situation calls for it and I wouldn't call it sour in any event, its serious not sour, Josh has a great sense of humour and knows how to smile and that smile gets me more than the serious glare. With one look he can make a girls heart melt, even through a tv screen. Not to mention the fact Josh is sweet and caring and would do anything to protect his friends and co-workers even if it means risking his own life.
Callan does an amazing job of portraying Josh. I honestly don't think you should refer to someone as a "scar faced misery" in any event, Callan very almost died as a result of a car accident and he picked himself back up and didn't let it stop him from achieving his goals in life, a lot of people would have shied away from the spot light for the exact reason you have brought up, so many can't see past a scar on a face, but he didn't and I do not think you should be bringing that into an argument about a character on a tv show.

shareWow. This is a long while later, but I was just notified of a new comment on this post and saw all of the old comments here.
I had to reply to say that I never knew that the scar was real when I made the comment back then. I assumed that it was make up and a feature of the character and that is all I was commenting on. I wouldn't make that sort of comment about a real person, obviously that is offensive and you never know the back story with a scar.
That aside, I never remember him smiling back when the series was on.
