Theme Song

I found that as a whole, this movie was cute and funny and enjoyable.
But, I was supremely bothered by the fact that they used the What's New Scooby Doo theme song at the end instead of the original.
Why imitate an imitation?
I dunno, it just seemed weird to me...

I'm guessing they used it because they thought it would be the one kids today would most recongize.

The original 'Scooby-Doo Where Are You!' song is a classic and I'm sure everyone knows it by heart, even kids, especially if they are Scooby fans. The 'What's New Scooby Doo' is a good song, don't get me wrong, but the original song is just classic. Especially if this was the 'beginning' of the series, which would then lead to the first show 'Scooby Doo Where Are You!" They should've used the original. Maybe they should've had Anarbor cover the original and revamp and rock it a bit more for this generation, although I still love the psychedelic original one just as it is. But since this movie is supposed to be a revamp and reboot of the franchise maybe they could've restyled the original song.

I still like the 'What's New Scooby Doo?' cover song, though. Pretty great, even though the original was performed by Simple Plan.
