So, are the 'Ghosts' going to be real or fake?

I know that the live action films used real monsters and such, but I'm hoping that for this film, they go back to the older days of "Just a man in a mask" type deal. From what I've seen in the trailer, I get the feeling they are going to have real ghosts.

I think that's one reason why the first two live-action movies didn't go over so well. People wanted to see the gang do something along the lines of what the original series was, not have the go up against monsters, aliens, and what have you to save the world. I still don't like what they did to Scrappy either .

Well, I guess I'll just have to watch this and find out. I hope they air it in Widescreen though.

I Also dislike that they are working against supernatural creatures, the cartoons was always about being rational (well maybe except for shaggy and scooby who'd believe in ghosts even when the others said there were none)

alas not always. they have encountered real ghosts on at least one occasion in the cartoon.

There were real monsters and ghosts in the 80's scooby shows and tv movies.

You're right though. The show was originally about being rational, which is something that the shows and movies with real ghosts miss out on. I still enjoy them, though.
