Film score - not original?

The soundtrack of the movie is not convincing. I have a 'déjà
entendu'(already heard) issue with the film's score. When the couple
comes down some narrow stairs in Hong Kong, the music has too many
elements of the music score for 'in the mood for love' by Shigeru
Umebayashi, for the same scene of narrow stairs, where the Chinese
women comes down the stairs to fill her pan with noodles.

Also some elements from Eleni Karaindrou's musical style.

Like the music, but have problems with the originality.
