It is now out as a DVD in Thailand, with both English and Thai soundtracks and subtitles.

I rented it today, via "on demand". It's a pretty crappy movie.
shareAgreed. Not very good. Pretty good story idea, badly executed. Unnecessary dialogue, Thai people speaking English like Americans with almost no accent, even in a tiny village! (there is a lot of Thai too, though) Awful cheesy music, not even good scenery -- a Conde Nast version of Thailand, slick & empty like the movie.
