As seen at the NY Film Festival (October 4, 2009) "Hadewijch" is in 1.66:1, this number confirmed by director Bruno Dumont at discussion after the film. When asked why he had decided for the first time not to work in the 'scope format, he said, "It's a very complex subject, and for that I wanted to use simple means."
