It actually is funny as long as you go in knowing it is a parody... too many of the people that seem to hate it seem to have expected real Sherlock movie when this one is really making fun of them.

Wasn't it obvious from the trailer that this is a parody? If the rest of the movie is that funny it should be a block buster.

One would have thought it was obvious, but if you read the rants by people that seem to have hated the movie it would appear they either never watched the trailers or are just complete idiots. Some have even been complaining that it isn't like the Robert Downey Jr version which is insane.

Actually, it isn't funny at all. What's weird is that the RDJ version is funnier than this one, and his Sherlock Holmes movies aren't even comedies. They're just lighthearted.

There aren’t any fans. The movie is the aswer to a question that nobody asked, and is reaping the fate it so richly deserves.

Betcha the box office returns bear out a total lack of fans!

Because I like Farrell, he's made some funny movies, but no fucking way with this one. I'm amazed it got a theatrical release.

I don’t mean favors with each other. I mean humiliating favors with producers, directors and designated male animals; you know, the kind of election-bet sex favors that get a green light for a terrible idea.

Favors that make the proposed actors squeal, scream and squirm.

Nobody on Earth wants to see either of those two do anything of a sexual nature, and I'm assuming that includes their spouses.
